Chingay 2018 Volunteers Roles & Duties

Overview

Chingay Parade is organized and managed by the Singapore Chingay & Events Network (SCENE) Division of the People’s Association (PA).

Chingay Parade 2018 will be held on Friday, 23 and Saturday, 24 February 2018, 8.00pm at F1 Pit Building. We will also be organizing one National Education (NE) show on Saturday, 10 February 2018.

Every year, the Chingay Organizing Committee requires the support of over 2,000 volunteers from various educational institutions in various aspects of the parade as our hospitality ambassadors, production crew, motivators, crowd control, traffic management, F&B and logistics volunteers etc. Volunteer support is crucial to the smooth operations of Chingay and the major rehearsals prior to the parade.
