Areas you can contribute in

1. General Hospitality

• Check tickets and general ushering of Guests
• Interact with the guests & to encourage them to have fun
• Answer general queries and distribute goodie bags
• Commitment required: 22 and 23 Feb 2013 + 2 briefing sessions in Jan / Feb ‘1 3

2. Motivators

• Rousing Welcome & send off the audience
• Create excitement and participation in the crowd
• Commitment required: 2, 22 and 23 Feb 2013 + 3 training sessions in Jan / Feb ‘13

3. Liaison for special guests

• Assist special guests (e.g wheelchair bound guests) to and from their seats
• Interact with these guests & encourage them to have fun
• Provide information and any assistance where necessary
• Commitment required: 2, 22 and 23 Feb 2013 + 2 briefing sessions in Jan / Feb ‘13

4. Crowd Management

• Provide directions and information to members of the public
• Facilitate the movement of invited guests / VIPs
• Commitment required: 22 and 23 Feb 2013 + 2 briefing sessions in Jan / Feb ‘13

5. Transport Management

• Manage the arrival and departure of performers
• Manage the arrival and departure of organised groups
• Commitment required: 26 Jan, 2, 21, 22 and 23 Feb 2013 + 2 briefing sessions in Jan / Feb ‘13

6. Food & Drinks Distribution

• Distribution of food and drinks to performers and volunteers
• Commitment required: 26 Jan, 2, 21, 22 and 23 Feb 2013

7. Logistics Management and Parade Production

• Assist in preparation and movement of production logistics & props before and during the parade
• Assist the performers in handling of props
• Prepare and give cue to performers for their entry/exit
• Guide the performers to the correct place
• Commitment required: 

All Saturdays in January 2013 – 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th
Wednesdays in January 2013 – 16th, 23rd & 30th
26 Jan, 2, 21, 22 and 23 Feb 2013 + 2 briefing sessions in Jan 2013

General Pre-requisites of Volunteers

1. Aged 15 years and above
2. Able to commit to all the sessions stated
3. Able to work independently
4. Willing to learn new skills and meet new people
