The People's Association will present the grandest Chingay Parade Singapore to-date with the involvement of over 8,000 performers and a spectacular line-up of acts! Capture these Chingay 2011 festivities with the 'Spirit of Chingay 2011' Photo Competition.

A fire-spewing dragon float and a pair of Firecracker Dragons wrapped with real crackling firecrackers will send temperatures soaring at the Pit Building. With 4,000 sky lanterns and 20,000 lamps lighting up the Pit Building night sky, Chingay Parade Singapore 2011 lives up to its reputation of being the grandest street and floats parade in Asia and promises a dazzling extravaganza of colours whilst celebrating cultural diversity. Enjoy the festivities of Chingay 2011 at your own backyard as it visits the heartlands too!

The Chingay 2011 celebration includes the following:

1. Parade 1 on Friday, 11 February 2011;
2. Parade 2 on Saturday, 12 February 2011;
3. Chingay 2011 @ Aljunied GRC and Hougang SMC on Sunday, 13 February 2011;
4. Chingay @ North 2011 on Saturday, 19 February 2011; and
5. Chingay @ Bishan-Toa Payoh on Sunday, 20 February 2011.
