I have a ticket to watch the parade. Can I join the after Parade parties "City Alive!" and Line/Folk Dance straight after the parade?
You need to purchase a separate ticket for the City Alive. For Line/Folk Dance, admission is free. All are welcome.
Do I have to buy tickets to watch the Parade?
To cater to the Parade, there will be a seating gallery constructed at the Pit Building for audience to enjoy the parade and these are ticketed seats. To enable more audience to join us at the Parade, the ticket price is heavily subsidised at very affordable rates. There is also a free standing area behind the Singapore Flyer. Hence, audience has a choice, either purchase tickets and enjoy the Parade in a more comfortable environment, better and close-up view, or to attend Chingay at the standing area which is free-of-charge, subject to space availability on-the-spot.
