Asia's Grandest Street & Floats Parade. Chingay 2010 Transport Arrangement.
Can I drive to the parade? If so, where do I park?
All visitors/audience/members of the audience contingents are strongly encouraged to come by public transport. Please also leave your home earlier as traffic condition including coaches and human flow is expected to be very heavy in the vicinity on the two Parade nights.
Enjoy the 15 to 20 minute Chingay Festive Walk (From City Hall -Stamford Road- Raffles Avenue - Singapore Flyer/F1 Pit Building (PAssion Chingay PAsar and Parade Site)
For those who are taking public transport, the nearest MRT Station is the City Hall MRT, about 15 to 20 minute walk to the parade site at F1 Pit Area/Singapore Flyer. You can enjoy the following festive activities in this joyous festive walk:
  • Meet colourful Chingay Roving Entertainers along the above 15 to 20 minute walkway - take photos with them;
  • Appreciate many handpainted Chingay Art Banners along the lamp posts; and
  • Visit the first ever Chingay Carnival - Chingay PAssion PAsar to meet Chingay Roving Entertainers/Movie Characters and enjoy special F & B before the parade.
Republic Boulevard which is closed for the parade is OPEN to taxi and normal Bus Services. For more information on public bus services in the area, please refer to the enclosed map.
(2) Limited Shuttle Services Available (First Come First Served)
If you are senior citizens or accompanying senior citizens above 60 years old, limited shuttle services will be available on the two Parade nights to ferry you from the following two designated MRT Stations to the Singapore Flyer/Pit Building Area
(i) Between City Hall MRT Station (Coleman Street) and Singapore Flyer
