| Do I need to purchase a ticket for my child? |
| Each ticket admits ONE only including children below 12 years old. |
| Is Infant-in-arm allowed into the Parade? |
| The parade lasts for 1.5 hrs and duration excludes the pre-parade party. Loud volume and noises are expected in the open and outdoor area, hence infant-in-arms are strongly discouraged. |
| Is there a concession rate for child? |
| There is no differentiation between Adult and Child seats. All seats are similar and are numbered. |
| What is the difference between the different categories and prices of the tickets? |
| There are three different ticket categories for each Parade, namely, Category 1, Category 2 and Category 3. Depending on the categories of seats, the price varies. At any sector from Category 1 to Category 3, audience will be able to see all items of the Parade as Chingay is a procession parade with the floats/performances moving from one sector to the other. |
| There are 2 parades. Which one is the rehearsal and actual day performance? |
| Rehearsals will be held before the Parade on 19/20 Feb 2010. The two Parades are full Parade show. |
| In the event of heavy downpour, will the parade still go on? |
| The organiser will make a decision, depending on the weather conditions. The Parade may be delayed, but no refund/exchange of tickets will be made under any circumstances (rain/thunderstorm etc) |
| Will latecomers be allowed to watch the parade? |
| The People's Association reserves the right to refuse entry for latecomers. There will be no refund/exchange of tickets under any circumstances (ie. rain/thunderstorm etc) |
| Is there a special dress code for the parade? |
| Ticket holders are encouraged to come dressed in red, blue or yellow based on the colour of the sector you are seated in. The colour of the sector is printed on the ticket. |
