For the first time, Chingay 2010 will see singers and acrobats performing on Three Colossal Balloons as part of the Finale show featuring over 1,500 performers! Entitled "Celebrations," the year 2010 will also mark PA's 50th Anniversary. 3 celebrity singers, including Taufik Batisah (Singapore Idol, 2004), Tabita Nauser (Singapore Idol Finalist, 2009) and Zhiyang (Winner of First Campust Superstar), will bring the parade to a high point by singing "Let Us Celebrate, We Are One" atop balloons 30-metre above the ground! With a wide music repertoire of jazz, sentimental ballads to street hip hop and pop, Taufix has well-established himself a versatile performer and one of the region's brightest stars since emerging to stardom. Tabita Nauser's Bio A natural born performer with powerhouse vocals, Tabitha Nauser joined Singapore Idol 2009 at the age of 17, and beat most of her competitors to make it to the Top 3. Dubbed as "the complete package", Tabitha shined on stage with her stunning vocal ability and her mesmerizing stage presence. Her love for music and singing began at a very young age when she would perform for family members and relatives at small family functions or gatherings. Throughout the years, her taste in music has changed vastly, leading her to be versatile in many genres of music, such as Jazz, Hip Hop, Sentimental Ballads, Pop and such. She is currently part of an acoustic band in Republic Polytechnic which has helped her to continue her passion for performing on stage. Singapore Idol is the biggest competition she has taken part in to date, but Tabitha hopes to continue pursuing her dream of becoming an internationally known singer. Zhiyang's Bio Ng Chee Yang, or better known as Zhiyang, is a singer, songwriter and producer. The more recent achievements of Singapore’s First Campus Superstar include the founding of a youth-oriented Events and Artiste Management Music School named 'Gefang Music Academy', producing a Charity Concert Production at Powerhouse, St James Power Station, as well as representing Singapore in Taiwan’s One Million Star 5 Singing Competition (超级星光大道5 踢馆赛).
