Synopsis

Held in conjunction with Chingay 2009 Grand Finale “Banquet @ Wonderland”, this contest is open to junior chefs with less than 3 years of experience. They need to create one main course and one dessert with the theme of Chingay Wonderland. Judging will be based on creativity, presentation and how well the dish fits into the theme. Time allocated is 2 hours.

Log on to www.xin.sg to sign up. Interested participants can fill up an application form and enclose the recipe and description of their dish from 20 October 2008 . Deadline for entries is 8 December 2008 !

Prizes and once-in-a-lifetime experience

The three selected winning teams stand to win fantastic prizes and an exclusive chance to appear as “invited chefs” of the Chingay Banquet King and Queen at the Banquet , the Grand Finale item of Chingay 2009.
