PLUS first time participation of world-renowned “Tong Liang Fire Dragon” from China and youthful displays by National Technological University of Singapore.

CHINGAY FIESTA I @ WONDERLAND
Be surprised by colourful floats and a grand presentation!

CREATIVECOMMUNITIES @ WONDERLAND
Creative costumes and wearable arts with floats from the different communities. Join the Wearable Art Public Contingent in this segment.

BEST OF THE WORLD I @ WONDERLAND
To be presented by Indonesia, India, Korea, Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand.

ETHNIC CULTURES @ WONDERLAND
A showcase of Singapore’s rich multi-ethnic cultures told through legendary folk myths.

BEST OF THE WORLD II @ WONDERLAND
Presented by the Japanese Association of Singapore, Zambiacongo Capoeira Group and Tanglin Trust School.

YOUTH @ WONDERLAND
A segment on insects by the PA Youth Movement and two wonderland fantasy stories by students from National University Singapore.

GRAND FINALE
Biggest parade show in the entire Chingay’s history – combining glittering float, world class magic illusion show, singing by theatre stars, acrobatics and more! Catch magic at work as a man set himself ablaze - will he end up safe and sound?

CHINGAY AFTER-PARADE PARTY
Join in the Chingay after-parade Party on Sat, 31 January 2008 at City Hall! There will be two events – street dance at City Hall and line/folk dance along Conaught Drive. What’s more? Chingay Ticket holders (31 January 2009) are entitled to join the party FREE!
