Group
The Gintong Ani Philippines is a CLSU based cultural performing arts group which aims to enhance and promote the heritage and cultural awareness of the University and the community. The group was named “Gintong Ani” which means “Golden Harvest” a fact that CLSU is a well known institution in the field of Agriculture as evidenced by the Philipino and foreign students who are learning their technologies most specially on rice production which is why the central Luzon is well known as the “Rice Bowl” of the Philippines. Gintong Ani is also one of the best Performing Arts Groups in “WOW PHILIPPINES” sponsored by the Department of Tourism. The group has already made international tours in Thailand and USA in 2007, and is scheduled to perform in China and Singapore in 2008.
