Aptly titled “The King of Beast”, this is an uncovered gem with daredevil stunts never performed or seen in Singapore. Hold your breath as the centre pole on the float is set ablaze with fire and watch the main lion twirl up the 8m pole in a split second. Be
wowed by this awe-inspiring and gravity-defying act! Group
Established in 1980, the Taman Jurong CC Juboon Dragon & Lion Dance Group has won various awards at regional Dragon and Lion Dance competitions. Other than performing
at Chingay Parades (1999-2001, 2006-7), NDP 98 and the Midosuji Parade 2006, it has also been invited to perform in countries like China, Japan and Malaysia.
Float
Pieced together by hundreds of pieces of solid wood, this majestic wooden platform becomes the playground for 36 prancing southern lions, delighting the audience with
their dazzling display of skill and agility.
