 Synopsis
An energetic dance incorporating the traditional kamen (mask) culture of Kagoshima
with the dance movements representing the vibrancy of the Mt. Sakurajima. This was a winning piece at the Kagoshima Spring Festival “Dai Hanya” 2007, and was also placed
in the top 5 at a regional dance competition with more than 50 participating teams.
Group
Established in 1982, the “So” Erg Dance Company was featured in various papers as the first dance troupe from Kagoshima to participate in the Ohara Festival.
