The closing item is an ingenious musical masterpiece featuring the works of Mr Tan Swie Hian, "Tian Wang". Led by it's music director, Mr Tsung Yeh, the Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) will put up an explosive and visually impactful concert-like performance that is sure to captivate the hearts of all the audience. Pulsating rhythm and beats from the SSO musicians enhances the poignant atmosphere and the interplay of strength and grace, further emphasizing the grandeur of the music. Multi-ethnic dancers are creatively dressed in different thematic costumes to bring out the artistic and vibrant mood of Chingay. Choreographed by Mr Fan Dong Kai, PA's resident Artistic Director, all performances will be full of vigour to bring out the cherry atmosphere of the parade. To cap off an amazing night, the sight of Mr Tan Swie Hian showcasing his painting skills on top of a scissor lift extended to 12m high is sure to bring this closing item to a pulsating climax!
