Miss Singapore 2007 Artistic Choreographer: Mr Patrick Loo Presented by: 5 CDCs
To bring out the 5 CDCs’ key messages of ABC (A - Assisting the Needy, B – Bonding the People and C - Connecting the Community), this item kicks off with energetic youths on roller blades surrounding 5 creative structures designed by the CDCs. As the Harmony One float and main CDC float make its way in, the audience will be treated to an array of fascinating performances – multi-ethnic dancers on float, catwalk by Y2Y volunteers, hip hop and cheerleaders displaying stunts and more.
Group
PA Talents dedicates its efforts to the preservation of promotion of Singapore’s multi cultural heritage through their dances. It is led by a pool of well known and experienced choreographers. The group performs regularly at community, national and international functions and events. They have also performed in Indonesia, Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Maldives, Brunei, Taiwan, Canada and Papua New Guinea.
Float
The CDC main float is a fascinating creation that combines the architectural beauty and enchanting colours of all the 5 CDC logos. A centre-piece rotating triangular panel featuring pictures of people and colourfully lit “ABC” messages are set to sweep
audiences off their feet!
Shaped like a formula one racing car, the sleek Harmony One float looks set to raise a
few eye brows and pump up the audiences’ adrenaline as well!
