This special Art Lunch with Swie Hian: Dialogue with Swie Hian on His Celestial Web @ Chingay 2008, marked the first-time participation of master artiste, Swie Hian at Chingay Parade and unveiled exciting details on the Chingay Finale item "The Celestial Web", where Swie Hian will present a beautiful float based on his poem, as well as flaunting his illustration skill on a 12 ft by 4 ft drawing board, 12 metres above the ground and within 5 minutes! The People's Association (PA) invited Restaurant Ember's Chef Sebastian Ng to create a one-of-a-kind Art Lunch for the media friends, comprising five delectable Nouveau Cuisine inspired by Mr Tan's poem, "The Celestial Web."
