Synopsis:
Featuring a performing group from the Pujiang County Fair, in which young, energetic children between the ages of 3 to 5 are made up as legendary personalities (The Eight Immortals) and carried around on platforms on the shoulders of young adults. While being carried around, they perform various acts to highlight the features of wonder, skill and excitement. The theme is often based on good luck, power, peace and prosperity of the nation and the people. The item will also feature stilt walkers, big headed dolls and Fu Lu Shou (representing Fortune, Success and Longevity respectively) to usher in the Chinese New Year.
