Synopsis:

The Opening item of Chingay Parade 2007 promises to be a grand affair with 4 impressive floats making their debut. The Guest of Honour will ride on the Opening float from the fourth (and last) performing area (Orchard Plaza) to the first performing area (The Paragon), accompanied by 12 2.5-metre tall robots and important guests. Colourful carnival dancers in big feather costumes dance in joyous celebration of the 35th parade. Look out for gigantic costumes donned by Russian dancers and oversized backdrop as part of their costumes.
