Synopsis:
A perennial feature in every Chingay, this year's Pole Act brings you more awe inspiring features - the participation of teenagers aged between 12 to 15 as they handle huge poles as long as eight metres tall. These performers are from the Fujian Cultural Association Pole Act Group, a renowned group that was even listed in the Guinness Book of World Records in 1996 as the ¡§first and only in the world¡¨. They will team up with our local Pole Act exponents from the Jalan Besar CC Dragon and Lion Dance Group to put up an astounding item guaranteed to set your heartbeats racing.
