Expect high entertainment, high fun, exciting dance and Interesting play as the entire parade route will be transformed into a hot hub of exhilarating events with the theme of “Hi-Fun @ Chingay 2007”. Be immersed in the intoxcating mood of Chingay Parade 2007. On 23, 24 Feb Orchard Road will be converted into a big party with colourful floats, flamboyant performers & exuberant dancers. For the first time the 1.2 km stretch of parade will be open for all to enjoy and to party in.
The parade route will be divided into three fun zones, each zone taking on a unique theme, with different activities for the enjoyment of all Singaporeans and tourists alike.
- Between Paragon and Ngee Ann City
Hosted by Aaron Azizand Anna Belle Francis, we promise you a nightof dazzling performances reflecting icons and sensations from the retro eras, music provided by Zouk's infamous Mambo Jumbo and happy jiving vibes that keep you dancing the whole night.
- Between The Heeren and Meritus Mandarin
This zone will feature hip hopmusic by DJ Koflow and emcee Garuda for partygoers ready to display their bestmoves.
– From Faber House/Somerset MRT to Orchard Plaza/Killiney Road
This zone will be one big carnival, a spaciousa dventure land for kidsa nd adults with an exciting inflatables playground of slides, bouncy platform and racing cars.
